After I built a global business out of my garage in the Hollywood Hiills, Sterling Press came to me and asked if I would write the definitive book on painted furntiure. A popular trend at the time and me being at the forefront of that trend, I agreed. I loved writing a book. I had created my own handmade books over the years and this was my shot to make a real book with a real publisher. Not as glamorous as you would think and I had to put my foot down on creating beautiful pages. The end results is something I am proud of.
